Apple Sales Boasts Best-Ever Black Friday Sales!

This past weekend, Apple Inc. broke all Black Friday records, when they offered discounts on a variety of their larger items, just in time for the holiday season. Macbook pros went for $1099, which gave those shopping a $101 dollar discount. 2nd generation Ipads also sold well this weekend when Apple slashed the price from $499 to $450. Although most Appleheads would acknowledge that these prices are no better then the education discount that many people are eligible to get through the year, reports have found that apple was able to boast such great profits because of their online sales, which came in at around $816 million.

According to ComScore, Apple was the 5th most-visited online retail store on Black Friday.

Adobe has released an official statement claiming that it will be discontinuing support for flash and will be moving to HTML5. HTML5 is already supported on all major devices, and some devices exclusively only have HTML5.

However, Adobe has said that it will be continuing to make critical fixes for flash player, just not any major updates.

Porsche Designed Blackberry

Now this has to be one of the nicest blackberries I've seen, coming from an ex-blackberry user, although their newer phones are looking nicer. This particular phone is the Blackberry P'9981 phone. And I must say, even outside of looks, this phone is still pretty impressive with specs, carrying a 1.2ghz processor, 8gb memory, and a NFC chip. Unfortunately, it is rumored that this will be a limited availability device with a huge price tag of $2000 (and I thought the iPhone was pricey).

Instead of a pic, how about a hands-on video:

Steve Jobs Passes Away

Earlier today the ex CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, had passed away at the age of 56. He had recently stepped down from his position as CEO due to his battle with cancer. It is very sad that a person who was able to change the computing world in the way that he did, has died at a young age.

"Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." - Steve Jobs
